Thoughts on security of needs
Security of needs is where most people who experience poverty in the first world are going to see it. It might be considered the second order of poverty. If a person is at risk of being evicted, that is poverty. If a person is not actively starving, but goes hungry regularly, that's still poverty. Functionally, people in the second order of poverty are a missed paycheck away from the first order of poverty.
